Back in August of 2006 I visited 10 Downing Street , London England and I received the following notice:

Letter addressed to me...message from the Prime Minister.

A petition with more than 1,200 signatures has been handed to Oxford city Council in a bid to fight plans for a mobile phone mast in Marston.

People living near school grounds taken over by Oxford Brookes University are worried that plans to build almost 50 homes on the site could leave their houses flooded and roads filled with parked cars.

Protester: Michael Haines outside Ramsay House, St Ebbe's, to hand over his petition to the council

More than 1,000 people have opposed plans to erect a phone mast disguised as a tekegragh pole in Marston, Oxford.

Residents who have seen the number of post offices in their area halved are protesting against further threats to the service. More than 1,000 people in Marston, Oxford, have signed a petition asking the government to rethink its plan to withdraw the Post Office card account.
